NCAA and NAIA Information for Students and Parents

• Register with the NCAA Clearinghouse – Div I- II  OR Register with NAIA
• There is a minimum ACT score! 
• Keep an open mind NCAA has 320 Div I schools; 280 Div II schools and 400 Div III schools. You may need to consider NAIA, Junior Colleges and Community Colleges.
• Market yourself.
• Reach out to College Coaches
• Respect the recruiting process. College coaches often talk with one another and share information on prospective athletes.
• Be persistent. Follow-up with a phone call.
• Work with you High School Coach.
• Finally, beware of recruiting services! They can be expensive and many college coaches discard information they receive from these services.
