Calculus will offer two methods of college credit this year. Dual credit will be offered through the University of Central Missouri for 5 credit hours at $85 a credit hour. Requirements for dual credit enrollment are a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a score of 26 or better on the math section of the ACT. The AP exam will cost $92 and will be an opportunity to earn college credit with a score of 3 or higher at most universities. Calculus students will need to decide by January which path they wish to take to earn college credit.
The course will be taught to prepare students to take the AP Calculus AB test while covering all topics required of the dual credit course Calculus & Analytic Geometry I (Math 1151).
