Welcome to the Oak Grove High School web page! We hope you enjoy your visit, find the information you need, and visit us sometime soon at one of the many activities around campus. OGHS, home of the Panthers, houses approximately 650 students, supported by approximately 60 faculty and staff members, in grades 9 through 12. A proud member of the Missouri River Valley Conference, OGHS offers a rich heritage and long tradition of excellence in academics and extra-curricular activities. In 2009, OGHS earned designation as an A+ school, which entitles students who complete certain requirements to community college/vocational-technical school tuition money after high school graduation. To date, approximately 200 students have earned access to the A+ benefit.
OGHS also, in 2011, began implementation of the High Schools That Work program, a school-wide improvement initiative designed by the Southern Region Educational Board to assist states in transforming their public high schools into places where all students learn at high levels. The OGHS faculty and staff truly believe that all students can learn and achieve at high levels and commit themselves to assisting all students in those pursuits. Again, we thank you for visiting the high school web page. Please contact any faculty or staff member if a question or concern arises. We anticipate another outstanding year of learning, achievement, and success and leave you with the OGHS guarantee - give us your child and your support for four years, and we will ensure his/her college and career readiness. Go Panthers!
