I'm Dr. Kristi Moore

My teaching philosophy comes from the belief that reading is a conversation, and writing is a social activity. As such, my classroom focuses on intentional dialogue, writing to understand, and constant reflection. 

On a personal note, I have been teaching for more than a decade. As an English teacher, I'm an avid reader and student. I recently finished my doctorate in K-12 leadership, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher. More importantly, I come from a large, extended family. 

This year, I will be teaching English I freshmen and English II sophomores. I will also be sponsoring the National Honor Society. My plan period is first block (7:30-8:21). The best way to contact me is through email ([email protected]).
