College Algebra
College Algebra is offered for dual credit through the University of Missouri Kansas City.  College Algebra is a 3 credit hour course and is priced at $75 a credit hour. Requirements for dual credit are a 3.0 cumulative GPA OR a score of 22 or better on the math section of the ACT. Students will enroll in dual credit through UMKC within the first few weeks of school. At UMKC, the course is titled Precalculus Algebra (Math 110).

This course will focus on the following:
     functions and graphs
     inverses, compositions, and transformation of functions
     solving equations, systems of equations, and inequalities
     linear, quadratic, polynomial, and rational functions
     exponential and logarithm functions and applications
